Nope, my salvation was bought and paid for by Jesus Christ the Messiah. It's a gift .
I'm not condemning you for walking in whatever way you wish to walk in.
Have I not already stated that if you haven't left Acts 2:38, 1 God, and Holiness then you're not backslidden, in my opinion?
I promise you this. We are both going to stand before God one day and explain every action we have ever given.
One of two things is going to happen.
1. Well done.
2. Depart from me, you worker of iniquity
Let's both do our parts and help each other to hear that well done.
Blessings.

No argument here.
I, nor my Pastor teach nothing added to the foundational doctrinal message of salvation.

If you're gonna follow Jesus, you better be following a pastor and submitting to the 5 fold ministry. God uses authority and offices that he's ordained. Period.
He will not ever say "Forget having a Pastor, all you need is to listen to me."
Sorry.

Your answer:

You apply a standard of appearance not taught in the bible to determine the qualification of those who would teach. This right is not given to you in the bible no matter your position or title.
You don't know my Pastor, unless I'm mistaken?
I know your bible. Knowing this is enough and it is not necessary to know your pastor nor his colleagues who teach the same things to know that what they teach is not taught in the bible. Those who teach what is not taught in the bible are not teaching what they are tasked to teach.

If you are going to follow Jesus it is enough do and act as Jesus did and acted.
A man of stature somewhat tall, and comely, with very reverent countenance, such as the beholders may both love and fear, his hair of (the colour of) the chestnut, full ripe, plain to His ears, whence downwards it is more orient and curling and wavering about His shoulders. In the midst of His head is a seam or partition in His hair, after the manner of the Nazarenes. His forehead plain and very delicate; His face without spot or wrinkle, beautified with a lovely red; His nose and mouth so formed as nothing can be reprehended; His beard thickish, in colour like His hair, not very long, but forked
Publius Lentullus, Governor of Judea, addressed to Tiberius Caesar, Emperor of Rome
Your pastor would prohibit this man, Jesus, from his pulpit.
He will not ever say "Forget having a Pastor, all you need is to listen to me."
When someone who looks like Jesus is prohibited from a man's stage then that man is not following Jesus, he is setting himself up in Jesus' place. May God forgive you both.
Sorry.
It is not I to whom you should ask forgiveness

If a bearded person wants to minister on our platform, they have to have the Holy Ghost, be baptized in Jesus Name, and be clean shaven. Not really that difficult .
We have people in our assembly who are used that have facial hair. But if they want to minister on the platform, they gotta shave. .

Does your pastor realize that Jesus Christ of Nazareth had a beard? So would they keep Him off the platform too?
Oh and BTW... just askin'... I don't personally have a beard

Re: Is there anyone who is Apostolic anymore?
For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. Revelation 22:18
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:30
Placing an un-required burden on the church or adding to Gods commands is as much a sin as not being clear about what is required for salvation.

Like he said its a " house rules "... Jesus would respect them. I don't know why everyone has such a problem with this. I work for a large heating and air conditioning company that pays pretty good and one of the rules is to be clean shaven and and so far nobody that I know of has walked from the job for this rule so if a pastor asked for it not to be on his platform and everyone wants to condem him for his stand..... I don't know one true conservative that will say having a beard is a sin...

Re: Is there anyone who is Apostolic anymore?
The rule that if a man has facial hair he may not teach or minister from the platform is an added, non-biblical rule

Re: Is there anyone who is Apostolic anymore?
It is inappropriate for one to set one's own rules in God's house. God's rules are written down and they are the rules that apply to God's house.

Yes, I realize Jesus Christ of Nazareth had a beard.
He also lived in a time period very different from ours.
You want to minister on the platform, scrape your face, that's all we ask .
