Actually, I have made some very good friendships on these forums with several people. Even though we may never meet in person, I know that these people are living breathing human beings with emotions, strengths and frailties behind the 'puter screen ...just like me. One really great person that I think a whole lot of...I have personal email exchange and not just friendship on this board.

Some people I don't ask, even though I agree with them more than I disagree, is because I can feel the resentment and that they wish I was not here. I don't sweat the small stuff though.

He is asking what does Friending someone here accomplish? (I've often thought the same thing.) I have quite a few "friends" in the boards status sense but I am not sure what it means, if anything.
