I do not want to argue either DM. I cannot give credit where credit is due in regards to people's ministry...apostolic or otherwise. I have to let God give the credit. If one wants to put credit
in regards to reaching numbers in an apostolic ministry, then the Roman Catholic Church has the greatest numbers since they claim to be "one holy apostolic church". They claim Peter was their first pope...that their doctrine descended straight down from Peter. eh?
I know that their version of apostolic is different from the protestant version of apostolic, so you would see that as a moot point.
I see NT scripture is that God is no respecter of persons. If one wants to put a badge of honor on one person bringing the most souls to Christ, then I guess that to be their prerogative.
It's just that I do not see any difference between TD Jakes, Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, Rob Parsley, Jimmy Swaggart, Joyce Meyer, Paula (whatever her name is) Atlanta Bishop, Steve Epley, Sam, AreYouReady, Dedicated Mind, T2w, Cindy, Praxeas, CC1, bbyrd, Pressing On, Deacon Blues and the whole human race. We all are flesh and blood, have to eat to maintain energy, put on clothes to cover our flesh and we each have a ministry of some sort to further the Kingdom of God that should be effective for Christ.
I just cannot attribute one man being greater than another in our current world.
No matter how effective they look.
