Dan, this is and was the planned Proceedure.

first there was to be a vote this past Wednesday by the entire Calif.Dist.

following that, a vote by just the southern Calif. preachers.

next, St loius makes the final decision... i think at General conference??

anyhow, we all knew that most of the southern CA. ministers wanted the split so their vote was no surprise. when HeadQs okays the split, no one will be surprised because they have already made it known that they are for it. the only surprise was on wednesday when the first vote took place. however that vote does not weigh to heavy on the decision. it's a done deal. it will split.
I think it will actually give the youth MORE fellowship opportunities !!

I stand corrected if this was part of planned protocol ....

Dan...as I said, I got in this late...so just an added validity to the conference.

The district conference has alternated between the north and south for the past few years. Last year it was down here in our neck of the woods. This year, it was held in the Northern part of the state...Tulare.
