Did you read my post at all? I tend to keep my ear open to the world. I am a news hound. I read news from many different sources around the world. It is to the detriment of Americans that they are so self-absorbed they can't consider that while they may be the wealthiest and most powerful nation in the world they are a very small minority in the world. Most of the world does not relate to their culture and has a different world view. It would be in the interest of America to show more respect for the rest of the world that shares this planet.
This is manifesting itself in the church world as well. There are more Christians gathered for church services in China every week than there is in the US. Other nations are sending Christian missionaries to the US because they are more fervent in their faith than most Americans are and feel that the US is a backslidden nation.
