John writes this to Christians. It appears he is conceding that Christians sin. So how disobedient can you be?
"There is now, NO condemnation...." We are flaw and will sin, but if we are trusting in Jesus, then we should not be condemned. Of course, we should always be on a path of "repentance", which simply means that as we see where we are wrong we change directions, period. No need for condemnation, just continue to walk in faith and confidence of His grace and love. Condemnation does not come from God.

Way to take a scripture out of context! There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Sorry but your entire interpretation and view of scripture and the plan of God is flawed. One of the most dangerous heresies circling today.

Unconditional eternal security is one of the most diabolical ungodly false doctrines being preached today. John said 'he that committeth(practices)sin is of the devil.' 1Jn.3:8 Unrepented-unconfessed sin will NOT be covered by the blood of Christ that is a lie. Repentance is the antedote for sin. This notion that saved men can habitually live a lifestyle of sin is mockery of the grace of God that teaches us to deny ungodliness. Titus 2:11 Paul plainly declares "Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? GOD FORBID!" Rom. 6:1

I'm not arguing for a man made doctrine, I am arguing for the power of God, salvation and redemption thru the work of Christ.

All other efforts are vain and ineffective. Nor am I arguing for "...continuing in sin...", it is your doctrine that destines one to continue in sin, for it is a doctrine of human effort to stop sinning, when that is not possible. It is only when one understands that they are justified in Christ that they are empowered to stopping "habitually sinning". All sin is under the blood, otherwise, none have a chance to be saved. Of course we should recognize when we fall short, when we sin, but you do not fall in and out of grace, period.

Why do "Pentecostals" have revolving alter calls??? Simple, man cannot overcome sin, only Christ has done so. "...he that says he has not sin is a liar..." You know this is true, yet you promote a doctrine that denies the truth. The blood of Christ is the only sacrifice, there is no other, all your begging and repenting is vain. THE ONLY EFFECTIVE ANTIDOTE FOR SIN IS FAITH IN THE SHED BLOOD OF CHRIST.

You must embrace where all your sins are, under the blood, and then walk out the truth that you are set free. Then when you fail, you get up and declare, "...I AM THE RIGHTEOUS OF CHRIST, I AM ACCEPTED, I AM JUSTIFIED, GOD IS NOT COUNTING MY SINS AGAINST ME, THEREFORE, I WILL WALK IN HIS STRENGTH NOT MY OWN!!
