If Jesus knew what was already in man, how could He be deceived and therefore sin at any time?

Good point.....but, it begs the question - why would the Bible say he was "Tempted in all points, like as we....yet without sin"?

Doesn't make sense to me......seems like a completely unnecessary statement to me.

I hate to use a crude analogy, but it's like a man saying that he has has unprotected sex numerous times, and yet never has been pregnant.

I agree that in Romans 7 nothing is removed rather Spirit is added because the sinful carnal nature was present from birth:

Psalms:

58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.



These passages show fallen mans true nature and it is deaconess as wicked and sinful it is with this that Paul says he struggled with in Romans 7. It is this nature that calls SIN THAT DWELLETH IN ME it is this that he calls the LAW OF SIN AND DEATH it is this that he calls a BODY OF DEATH and praise God it is this that he says in Romans 8:3 he was freed from by the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

What about where Jesus Satan tempted Jesus??? If Christ could have not sinned why tempt Him? He was without sin.

I don't view that as any different than when Satan exalted Himself against God in Heaven, who was then cast out. Was God capable of sinning? God never changes and neither does the devil - always challenging.
