The point is... there are deeper doctrines in the Bible than what so many teach in the Apostolic church. I'm not saying that we should DROP anything but unbiblical standards. However, do you realize how just knowing what it means that Jesus served as propitiation for our sins can inspire and empower some believers? Propitiation is a biblical doctrine. Yet... I've learned that too many of my Apostolic friends don't have a clue as to what it means!

That's not right... we should understand these doctrines. And if you pay close attention... I didn't define them... nor did I place them in the order... that's found in Evangelical churches. I'm refining them as I pray and seek God. Consider it a consideration for an Apostolic Ordo Salutis.
I have not thrown out the baby with the bath water. I believe in Acts 2:38 but I believe in it the shadow of the Gospels and the rest of the New Testament.

What was taught to me as Salvation now I find it to be steps in growth and maturity in the Lord. Jesus, Paul and Peter taught more on faith in Christ and trusting in Christ more then anything else. Overcoming faith!

How many times can a person stand on the pulpit and scream about Speaking in tongues and Baptism in Jesus name. Teach them what to do when the tongue is done.

This explains a lot.

So I have to ask why are the churches that don't have the truth teach such lessons????? Maybe there is not such a special revelation of Christ after all in Oneness churches???

Not bad...

Maturity into "what"?
Can you explain what you mean by "steps in growth and maturity in the Lord"?

What is the Father's sole desire concerning every born again believer?

What I mean is we grow and understand why we do the things that we do. Example: one gets the joy of being Baptized into Christ and the body of believers (Jesus Name or FSHG), instead of being rushed into a pool of water right after making a confession of faith or having to stand at the altar and be screamed at by Sister and Brother I know better than you and being fearful of not being able to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and dying on the way home from Church. I have seen more people just get the Holy Ghost with a simple question of have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed. This is without all the crazyness of the altar mayhem.

For me this maturity starts with the teaching on the beauty of the Cross and Christ and His perfect sacrifice and the blood that was spilt. One of the best teaching I ever heard was on the 7 places that Christ bled and the importance in the believers life and this from an Assembly of God church. This same pastor taught on the Jewish Wedding feast. Those are the things that make me want to know more and spark the desire in me to dig beyond what I can see.

When I left my old church I would always feel beat down like I could never do anything right and I was always waiting for God to smote me.

"What is the Father's sole desire concerning every born again believer?"

Luke 10:27
27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” (NKJV)
