Anyway, my pastor goes on to say that if you believe the lie that charismatics believe you will end up in hell. Well, I was wondering , what if believing in the ideas of holiness as the UPCI puts it is a lie? Would that not send one to hell as well?

thoughts?
Why don't you just ask your pastor?
And If you have to come here to ask that kind of question and you are a minister makes me wonder if you are really called.

Did you happen to have this discussion with your pastor, before you started the thread on a open forum?

Re: Beleiving in a Lie

Maybe preacherme is thinking that he believes holiness because that is what he was taught and really does not know why he believes holiness standards of dress and hair? He is not well versed in scriptures that UPC says proves it?

It's like people (like me) who were raised in the RCC. We did certain customs because we were raised in those customs. There was no scripture for certain things we did like praying with rosary beads and to Mary and patron saints.

We did it because we were taught to without proof of scripture.

Maybe he did and received a non-answer from his pastor.

Re: Beleiving in a Lie

preacherME is a licensed UPCI minister and hasnt figured Holiness out yet., ..................he is coming to AFF (huh??) for advice. (whats up with that)

Methinks he needs to turn his credentials and get a plumbers license or something like that....it would be more fitting.
