The scripture that comes to my mind is God is the same today as yesterday, and it was His will for us to tithe,IF you have a willing heart.

Sister Esther The New Covenant does teach giving but not tithing.
The Jews know what tithing is.

Does the NT teach abandoning the OT? The Nt fulfilled the OT in sacrifices but to my knowledge that is it.

The Ten Commandments still apply so why not tithing?

Well for starters if the priesthood has been changed see Hebrews 7 then the ordinances that pertained to it have been changed as well. The principles of the ten commandments were taught in the new covenant.

I think that NT.Grace giving is different from OT. tithing.
