And this brings me back to the actual subject of the thread... we've drifted from being as spiritual as I think believers used to be. Today... I'm not so sure that we are open enough or have the faith to actually see or hear from a holy angel should it be sent to us.

I don't think I agree with that. I believe there are many committed and wouldn't necessarily share these experiences.

So you believe that many do encounter and communicate with angels and don't share their experiences?

I've had a few experiences of almost being killed in a car accident. It felt as though someone picked up my car and set it down. In one instance, if not for God, there is no way my Camero would have stopped while heading toward a fence post. I was barreling toward it. It was right after I got in church. I think angels assist in that, although when I share my stories, I don't include that.

I can see that. I've often entertained the idea that God's Spirit works through angels at times. For example... the Angel of the LORD seems like a normal angel and speaks to God at times... then at other times... he speaks as God. Instead of the ol' Trinitarian bit... what if God speaks through the angels, or works through the angels, as He does the prophets??? Thus... if angels did lift your car... maybe it was God.

Eh... my brain hurts. lol
