Wow! To bad some don't feel this way about preaching the gospel on TV.

It's bogus. I think you agree with me on this.

I will just restate in summary what I have many times said. Long hair on a woman looks more feminine and does not detract from her beauty. It tends away from some of the "gender-mixing" and "outlandish styles" that many of the modern styles bring the bear. (That does not mean that it totally eradicates them.) Our ladies stand out, and the beauty of their hair has a very wonderful attraction--and not just to them in a sensual manner....although long hair can be used that way. I have never seen a woman that I thought looked better with short hair than she did with long. But, I have seen plenty that with their long hair and no makeup, looked better than with short hair AND makeup. That is but a personal opinion, and personal taste. I don't expect agreement in this area.

I think that are ladies are impressive when they do their hair in nice fashion, but not outlandlishly--and I think their dedication to God shines through. My opinion again.

I think that society was much less encumbered with open sin before ladies began to follow after more modern fashions in cutting the hair, and wearing pants. I DO NOT say that this is the cause, but merely a symptom begetting more symptoms. If cut hair and pants were the only issues we had to deal with--then preachers could rest easy. They often seem to run along with more problematic issues--but that is certainly not a rule without NUMEROUS exceptions on both sides of the issue.

Yes--I'm more liberal than most conservatives on this, and more conservative than most "liberals" on this...but I am just stating where I am and where I am coming from.

And, this is not intended to pick back. I appreciate the many debates that you and I have both enjoined--and I am the better for them. Interpreted, if I am not as strict on this issue as I once was--I suppose that Newman can be said to bear part of the blame!!!!
I understand what you are saying about the exceptions, but I can't help but think of this on a global level.

In order to qualify this statement, and bind it to the wearing of pants, and cutting hair, it would have to be proven in other societies, cultures, and countries, not just our own western one, wouldn't it?

Yes, ma'am. But, I believe that is easily done. Case in point, France. Case in point, England. Case in point, Germany. Their society in Western Europe have fallowed a similar path as ours. Exception, I believe, to the point, Israel. Societies that have not followed us--most Islamic societies, and you will note that they have not fallen into a lot of the moral traps we have (although they have a rather messed up view of some EXTREMELY MORAL issues--but for the most part--no premarital relations, no adultery (especially on the part of the woman--a little sinister), and no open immodesty).

Good thoughts. Hollywood and Paris has governed the world on fashion. I refuse to allow the starlets of Hollywood and models whose pictures and lifestyles are seen on every tabloit magazine at the checkout line influence the appearance of the saints.

Yes those were the good old days.

God give us more Aunt Beas and less Paris Hiltons, Brittany Speers, Madonnas or whoever.

Certainly not women I want my girls modeling themselves after...but...to be fair, it doesn't have all that much to do with their hair, Bro. Epley. My Grandma York had short, curly hair, but she was a fine, fine woman. (Baptist, mind you...)

Having cut hair isn't what makes these women good or bad role models.

I certainly hope you'd never wear anything like THIS then:

This guy has said that the secret to his happy marriage is that he and his wife can sleep with other people, as long as it isn't behind each others back. So I sincerely hope you never dress in the fashion of THIS star of Hollywood.

I don't know the guy. He is copying us we are not copying him. Apostolic preachers have been wearing black suits-white shirts-black ties before this guy's grandfather was born. Probably has an Apostolic family member in his family he emulated as a child.
