He also had links to pages calling for independence for Chechnya, a region of Russia that lost its bid for independence after two wars in the 1990s."

This was a domestic incident-- pulled off by "insiders" who lived among us, grew up with us and then turned on us for their personal twisted reasons.

When has anyone seemed like a terrorist or murderer to their friends or neighbors? They say things like, "he was quiet", "he seemed like a nice guy", "he kept to himself." Very few times are they obvious.
