To a man and a woman, they ALL say arming teachers who are properly trained and paid accordingly is a very very good thing.

I work at a school also and I feel it is not just a good idea but the right thing to do.

One of the things that helped me decide to move from the hospital setting to a private practice was the restriction on CCWs at the hospital.

Most of us will never ever be in one of these terrible situations... but to be prepared and not need the weapon or the training is far better than to need it and not have it.

On the other hand... Having worked in an acute psyc hospital I have to say that teachers were one of the most oft admitted professions... Now whether they were crazy and then became teachers or teaching made them crazy I am not sure.
