Barb I like Newman I applauded her courage and her scholarship. She always behaved in a ladylike manner. We also had some discussions private. She requested prayer concerning a situation. I do know the family she is married into. However I was there during the entire episode. Sabbelius took her arguments apart piece by piece. He was a take no prisoner type guy that is his personality he is a public debator. And she left. Those are the facts. I am a witness. At that time though she argued fervently for women cutting their hair she had not cut her hair because she felt she should submit to her pastor. When someone threatened to call her pastor we all went bonkers defending her. Although I did send her message after message questioning her for not defending the new birth message she claimed to believe. I felt she wouldn't because it would alienate her cheering crowd the most of which did not believe the new birth message.
