There are some choices we make in life that have consequences.

The girl who has a child out of wedlock doesn't get out of having to raise it just because she prays through.

Sin carries both an eternal and temporal price tag.

The etrnal price of every sin is the same; the temporal price sometimes varies.

This man is too big a distraction and should not be allowed in platform ministry.

I daresay even most denominational people would understand that.

I agree with Felicity.

And you are wasting your time trying to lay a guilt trip on me for my opinion.
Your callous answers don't surprise me ... they are as cookie-cutter as your marginal religious world-view .....

I am aware there are consequences for our actions ... making some sins ... resonate more among us.

I would hate to be the one responsible for this man's soul based on my prejudices. Nuff said.

Responsible for his soul?

Of course he can be saved.

But he has disqualified himself from certain positions of leadership.

That's not callous; that is just good sense.

Paint it anyway you like.

You are all wet on this and you know it.

Coming from a culture that is insatiably concerned with the outward .... I question the "good sense" .... it's more of the same checklists.

Last time I checked, no tatoos wasn't one of the qualifications listed in the Bible for a minister. This is just one more example of people adding to the Bible to suit themselves.

Rico, whatever.

It isn't that a person with a tattoo can't minister.

This is excessive beyond the norm.

The problem, CS, is that folks such as yourself have turned the church into a clubhouse and the ministry into a good old boys group. If God were to call a tatooed all over man into the ministry who are you to question God?
