Maybe a poor choice of words but the look on their faces and the eye contact with each other as this ACE trainer was beating the tar out of television was indeed INTERESTING. It was very telling when these ACE folks without the Holy Ghost had more convictions than these Pentecostal preachers.

The Amish have more convictions than pentecostal preachers. So what? More convictions means more holy?

Rico these folks are EDUCATORS and it was their opinion to go to the trouble of having a school with the expense and work and dedciation it involves it was a waste of time if the parents had televisions. That was the point and many educators today feel the same some 30 years later. It have not gotten better but worse if anything I read can be believed.

It is ridiculous to assume parents cannot teach their children how to live righteously just because they have a TV. Our children have to grow up and live in this wicked world, how much better to teach them to separate the precious from the vile. It is called spiritual maturity, I will not defend the garbage on TV anymore than I will defend the garbage on our streets and in our schools and in our malls....but I do take exception the idea that we can keep our children from evil by separation from what is so prevalent in our culture. If they get it in their hearts the TV will be very limited, and I testify of that fact in my family, my children are grown but I can see that TV is very limited still in their lives. You may say, "why have it if it is that limited?" It is very simple there is more good programming on today than ever before, more than any of us has time to view, so why not when you have a little time broaden your knowledge? I thought the HG helps us to live godly in this present evil world, well I believe it does, so just because you don't think someone can use TV righteously does not mean it is not being done.

I was tickled there were some liberal Pentecostal pastors there taking the training and the ACE folks were stronger than they.
