I agree, the cookies - BUT - how did they get my user name? Also, I sent a PM to verify the book title. I didn't discuss the book on open forum.

Yeah, pretty much the same answer. Cookies have gotten extremely 'smart' lately. I've noticed something similar happened to me as well. I was like, 'how in the WORLD did they know THAT over THERE!' I'm pretty sure it's tied to Google's new ramped-up programs they're using now. Google's got their hands into everything everywhere!

I finally remembered what it was that shocked me. It was on Facebook. When it first came out with its 'suggested topics to share'...like what books you've read, or movies you've watched.

When I clicked on the suggested list, the first two movies it had listed were the last two movies we had actually rented and watched! How in the WORLD did it know that??? My husband used his cell phone to reserve it thru Redbox. Still have NO IDEA how the accounts are linked, and how it would come back to me, but that's what happened.

I'm blaming Google.
