I'll say again, a full acquittal in this situation will open the door for "legalized" gun-toting vigilantism-- as long as you kill the subject and as long as there aren't any witnesses to say otherwise, you can do what you want under the guise of "neighborhood watch".

If he is acquitted, the jury decided and everyone should accept it.

If you go to a peaceful protest, knowing this thing was racially stoked by Al Sharpton and the Mayor, then you are promoting racism yourself.

Rioting does more to hurt the outraged and innocent than the target of the anger.

I have the right to peaceful protest and protesting in this situation wouldn't be racism in the least bit.

There isn't any one being denied anything systematically or institutionally because I decide to participate in peaceful protest of this three-ring circus of a trial.

If there is a conviction, I will be sated.

Read the clip, he did apply to be a cop and he did have at one time aspirations to be a cop.

In fact, Dan Newlin, popular lawyer here in central Florida, also started out as a Sheriffs Deputy.

You forget that the widespread protests all across this country, before there was a trial, was not defined by their race. It was people of all races who saw the potential of a grave injustice deciding to protest.

It was spontaneous.

It was not organized on a national level.

On the other side of this case, there are A LOT of people who believe, even with the facts that have been presented so far, that the AGGRESSOR should not have legal protection to kill, under "self-defense" or SYG.

For me, and for countless others, this is the rub-- this is what stinks.

There is a video posted on this thread where Sharpton is interviewing the Defense attorney, O'Mara. Sharpton is explaining why they took it national. Please! I love ya man, but you don't check your sources and don't dig very deep before you comment. Help our country, unite with the facts and truth.

No, I don't recognize the media as one specific entity.

Al Sharpton had nothing to do with the VAST MAJORITY of the demonstrations I provided links to. Will you check them out and stop making anyone who speaks out against anything race-related to be the stepson of satan?

If you think the media is "one-entity", then maybe you'd like to limit the freedom of our press to report the news, to make people aware, and to raise questions when things are not clear.

Riots = Terrorism?

Just as the word, "love" is overused in our society, so is the word "terrorism".

TM was the aggressor. That is what the facts show

He was a 17 year old in a hoodie cutting between houses. His skin color is irrelevant. He looked suspicious to a NW whose neighborhood had been broken into several times

When someone is sitting on you pummeling away at you, self defense is valid.
