Except that Singleton also says she took it as a No. And Serino said that he did not take GZ's not recognizing his voice as a denial. He recognized it for how a normal person would respond when hearing their voice as they aren't all that familiar with hearing themselves. All the facts point to an emphatic No.

All true. I still think that TracyM can claim grief and denial and it could be believable. The distress he must have been going through, understandably, would absolutely cause him to be in a state of denial. What parent would want to hear and claim that their child was screaming in agony and fear? I just can't say that, as a juror, I would not consider that as an option.
