IMO, I think he should have stayed in the car. I don't think he should have followed him.
And for those who think he DID show remorse, in the Hannity interview, Zimmerman was asked if there was anything he regretted...getting out of the car, etc.
And he said "NO!"
So, is he content with a young man, whether a thug or not, dying in the street?

When Hannity asked what he would say to Martin's parents, Zimmerman said:
"I would tell them that, again, I'm sorry. My wife and I don’t have any children. I have nephews that I love more than life. I love them more than myself. And I know when they were born, it was a different unique bond and love that I have with them. And I love my children even though they aren’t born yet. I am sorry that they buried their child. I can’t imagine what it must feel like. I pray for them daily."

I know that, but apologies are cheap, Prax...
When you consider that he doesn't regret one thing that happened, yeah, there's something wrong here.
I regret hitting a squirrel on the highway, and a man can't regret that this kid died?
I'm sorry...I'm done here...

So how would he show remorse? That seems a little biased to demand he be remorseful and when he apologizes reject it as "cheap"...
Your portrayal of the interview is also biased. Hannity did not merely ask "is there anything you regret? He asked specific questions if he regretted getting out of the car. He did not ask if he regretted shooting TM
HANNITY: Is there anything you regret? Do you regret getting out of the car to follow Trayvon that night?
ZIMMERMAN: No, sir.
HANNITY: Do you regret that you had a gun that night?
ZIMMERMAN: No, sir.
HANNITY: Do you feel you wouldn't be here for this interview if you didn't have that gun?
ZIMMERMAN: No, sir.
HANNITY: You feel you would not be here?
ZIMMERMAN: I feel it was all God's plan and for me to second guess it or judge it --
HANNITY: Is there anything you might do differently in retrospect now that the time has passed a little bit?
ZIMMERMAN: No, sir.

Had you bothered to READ my post to you, you would have seen that I acknowledged the questions were direct.
And I am NOT biased. I merely have a differing opinion.
*sigh* Here is my regret...I regret I ever bothered to offer my opinion...

Friend, your opinion is as valued as the next. This is where we all have our own personal opinions and we are free to post them. There are times we, as AFF posters, agree to disagree. Please, do not ever regret posting the way you feel. I sure do not and never will ~ *Hugs*

You implied GZ had no remorse. Your evidence was that interview because he said "NO" as if he was asked "Do you have any regrets?"
But that is not what he was asked. So that is not evidence he lacked regret or remorse for killing TM.
And in fact the evidence shows he apologized. He was sorry.
And yes I DID read your post. I did "bother to read it"..thats how I know you emphasized GZ's answer as "NO".
You also did not acknowledge anything about the line of questioning and had you then I have to ask why post it as evidence he did not regret shooting TM when the line of questioning had nothing to do with if he had regrets to shooting TM?
