Mark 16:17-18

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18.They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
KJV

Are you tempting God when you pray for a diabetic who eats candy bars? Are you tempting God when you pray for a smoker dying of lung cancer?
Are you taking the Lord's name in vain? Are you not perputrating evil when you pray for them? Maybe it's time to go back to the drawing board.

You made a good effort, the best one I've seen so far. Good job.

Yes, if someone is praying blessings on or protection from cigarettes while smoking them - the same applies - it is not of faith and is sin to use the name of the Lord in such fashion.

The candy bar scenario is a stretch... unless it was a Resees Peanut Butter Cup - in which case God may sypathize with you.....
