I'm not sorry though...I'm from PoDunk, Oregon...those fancy things just aren't necessary in my simple life here.

If I remember right...the Wynn Hotel was still under construction when we were there.

The only disappointment was that we didn't get to go to the Stratosphere. Hubby REALLY wanted to see that. I guess we'll save it for next time.

it's a just a place to go and mostly look. they have really unusual stores.
If you ever go again you MUST see the WYNN. i have never in my life seen a hotel like it. the Stratosphere has a roller coaster on top of it too did you see that ?? I think i'd pass on that one

I just can't do it!!!

I will have to make sure we visit the Wynn if we ever go back there. Sounds incredible!

You really DON'T read what people post, do you???

Yes, Thad, we ate dinner in the restaurant in the tower for our anniversary, then went to the top afterwards. I already stated this in my first post.

We specifically went to the Paris Hotel BECAUSE we spent our first wedding anniversary in Paris, France. We thought it would be special to see the Eiffel Tower again.

you must have edited that in later. now you can deny it but I do not recall you adding some of the extra details till later. you did say that you stayed at the Paris and could watch the fountains for hours but not the other

The Wynn is definately a must visit. I did the "Big Shot" on top of the Stratosphere and it was amazing. Nothing like boarding a ride when it's on top of a 1000' tower.

The Fountains at Bellagio is the best free show in Vegas and "O" at Bellagio is the best Cirque show in the Vegas, IMO.

BTW is wasn't me in Vegas, because I don't play slots!!

Although I love to fly in airplanes I am scared of heights so no "Big Shot" for me. I remember back about a year ago when it got stuck with the folks dangling 1000 ft over the edge of the building for several hours or so. I would have died of a heart attack or at least passed out.
