Your post is funny but sadly I think this thinking has made a lot of inroads in the Republican party and is going to cost the party I have supported in and believe in a lot of elections.

I firmly believe in Ronald Reagan's philosophy that you support as conservative a candidate as can win a particular election.

If the tea party and ultra right wing Republicans insist on nominating far right candidates in moderate or liberal states we are going to be wandering in the desert for a very long time. Makes no sense at all. What can win in America is a moderate / conservative coalition of voters.

Really, Si, Se Puede! How has that been working for ya? When did your last moderate win? You lost this last election not because of the Conservatives, but because you presented us with a subversive progressive Republican. Why don't you try something different for once and stop touting the same tired old rhetoric - Moderates win. LOL!

If the GOP Establishment, including Bill Bolling had not of undermined Cuccinelli, he would have won Virginia. Your part of the Republican party is the problem - Democrat light never wins. Will you ever learn that lesson?
