The JWA Appreciation Day Thread
I dub today, January 31st, the Jeffrey Wayne Arnold Appreciation Day. I do this to show that, contrary to some wacko, I do not have evil, malicious or otherwise bad feelings towards Rev. JA. In fact, last night I even turned on a message he spoke at BOTT in 2010, "I have an anchor for my soul." AND I'm listening to a message of his right now!
So this thread is to celebrate JA and post message or quotes from JA which have blessed you. It's recommended to use colorful words like "jerk," "wacko," "idiot," "dingbat," "dirtbag," etc in your posts.
HAPPY JA APPRECIATION DAY, dingbats!!!

Re: The JWA Appreciation Day Thread
My favorite JA message is "Miracle Looking for a Vessel." Another that blessed me was "Refuge from Despair."

Good thread idea. Happy JA appreciation day to you as well!" miracle looking for a vessel" is one of my favorites. "Pregnant with promise" is another memorable one. I may have to go on line and find me some Jeff Arnold audio/video now.

Haven't watched "Pregnant with Promise." Have you watched "Refuge from Despair?" That's alongside of "Miracle Looking for a Vessel," as a favorite message of mine.

I haven't seen or heard (that I can remember) "Refuge from despair" Would like to hear this subject approached with the revelation and delivery that Arnald brings. Is it on line?

The audio is on Apostolic Live; video is on YouTube. Both are broken up into several 10 minute clips. He uses 1 John 3:20-21 for the text. KJV For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. [21] Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
It's my favorite message on Grace. JA upset some folks, surprise, but not because of any word he used or anything. Some just are uneasy and don't know how to handle the subject of Grace.

I think I heard this one. Great revaluation. I think he explains thAt " God is greater than our heart" refers to His ability to have grace on us is greater than we can on our selves. That message would be controversial, I heard that concept back when I wasn't hearing a lot of preaching on grace. Simply illuminating. Arnold's ministry brings out a lot of revelation. That type of ministry is inherently controversial. I love JAs ministry for this.

Yes, that's what it was. There was a blog entry I read a while back, I'll have to post the link in a bit, it's a minister who "interviewed" JA and they talked about that message a lot. It caused a big stir at the time, but it's the best message on grace I've ever heard.
