Are you willing to admit that the above people named as 'diakonos' were merely servants and tablewaiters?

Lets skip to the chase can a woman be the husband of one wife, that is the qualifications of a deacon, 1 Tim 3:12?! While a woman can serve (which is what minister and deacon implies) she cannot be a deacon, unless you would promote and embrace same sex marriages.

Your point in posting those verses was NOT to prove women couldn't be a deacon, it was to prove 'diakonos' was nothing more than a mere servant or tablewaiter, which I proved wrong, that's all.

They were not preaching tables they were serving tables in Acts 6 (regardless of who actually served).

They were not preaching unto him of their substance in Luke 8:3, they were ministering unto Him of their substance. One can serve and minister without being a preacher.

If you cannot see that you do not want to see it!

Which is precisely the predicament "women-teachers-preachers" place themselves in - they are simply doing what they want to do - despite the clear witness of Scripture .

yet you might be ignoring a possible indicator here, brother--if their borders are increasing...btw, do you say what church you pastor? i know you might be convinced that i am an adversary, but nothing could be further from true; i believe pretty much what you do, that a woman's place is not pastoring. shepherding, other women and kids, yes; and i guess even a shepherd may need to step in to pastor now and then.

as an aside, this for me would include teaching the kids--as in school--and imo, preparing them for you. so while i may have presented this as a failure of men, it was again through the women, imo; and not something to be ashamed of or anything, just another iteration designed to impart knowledge to all.
