Have you ever been Governor of a state or asked to be on the VP ticket? And, yes, the media framed the narrative to portray her as less competent than she probably was, but she did get up, stayed in the fray, and kept moving. I can give her that even if I agree that I don't care for her voice.

Jermyn, When you say her name inspires "disgust", I can only think of someone like Melissa-Harris Perry with her tampon earrings. Most of the commentators on MSNBC are just like her. That is disgusting, IMO.

So, no, Sarah Palin has never done anything that warrants being called disgusting.

And you are right, I feel that she is intelligent enough to get the help she needs, but I wasn't sure she was ready for the White House at that point, in 2008.

Wow JD, I didnt know you have negotiated contracts with the biggest oil companies in the world, getting bigger consessions than all the previous leaders were able to do.

That you ousted a good old boys network in a state that led to MULTIPLE politicians from your own party going to jail.

That you got an agreement on a natural gas pipline in less than 2 years, that the previous 30 years worth of leaders had gotten done (and got it paid for with private money not public tax dollars!)
