WS, there is a balance between going to men to learn and going to God. God gave the church pastors,
teachers, apostles, and evangelists, etc for the benefit of the people of God. All of these (pastors, teachers, apostles, evangelists, prophets) are MEN! Paul was a teacher and his epistles have teaching in them. Do you go to the Bible to learn about God and his ways? If you are then you are going to men, albeit anointed men of God.
God also gave us the Spirit to teach us.
Lastly, you are a man and trying to teach us what you believe! Why should we listen to you. Shouldn't we just go to Jesus and let him feed us?
I don't see anything wrong with going to men who are seeking God and walking with God to learn from them. And then following the example of the "Bereans" and going to the Bible to see if how their teachings compare with the bible.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what your point is.
To answer you question. Jesus is God.
