Well, do you realize that we lost more men in the Civil war than these wars combined?

We lost 618,000 men from the US during the civil war. That was over 10% of all men from the US.

So is it better or worse?

Stalin killed more people in Russia than many of the wars killed. 40 million total. The only war that was worse was WW2 which they figure 66 mill died.

Yet they figure that the Mongol hordes wiped out over 40 million people in their escapades. This was during the 13th century. So are things getting better or worse? Seems to me that unregenerated man has the capacity to be totally degenerate!
