Re: End time Revival
Never discount personal revival!
God may call men and women, few in number, to ascend to new and greater heights in the Spirit. It may not be a revival of quantity but of quality.
If I don't win 1,000 souls in my life, but become eminently Christ-like, then I can feel confident that I have experienced personal revival. Collective revival always starts with an individual feeling the "deep calleth to deep", and responding in faith to that call.
And when one or two go down into the depths of God's Spirit, more and more are likely to come with, until a large number of men and women are operating on a whole other level.
The Great Awakening happened this way. Azusa happened this way.
If only we all could get into unity, faces to the ground, hearts in His hands, crying out to God and stop "playing church", we might see a move in this country that would once again shake the gates of hell.
Personal comfort is the number one revival killer in the world.

Re: End time Revival
I don't know about an Endtime Revival. I think its something to hope for and to shoot for, but until we find the key to an outpouring of the Holy Ghost, Pentecost or Azusa style, we'll come up short.
The fact is... lets be honest now, who among us really want it enough? I've said it on here before, and I'll say it again. To have an Acts 2:4 experience, we'll need an Acts 1:14 experience. Before we can get to Joel 2:28, we'll have to experience Joel 2:12.
And, going back to Acts 1 and 2, the disciples were united before, during, and after Pentecost. Folks, we just ain't there yet. Unity is the key. Mention "unity" and you're branded a "heretic", a "compromiser" and an "ecumenentist" (sorry for the spelling). I know... I've been called all that and worse. But "unity" was the gist of Jesus' prayer in John 17, and if we are to survive as God's church, "unity" must be what we strive for.

Ok if unity is more important than truth, faith, or holiness exactly WHAT should we be unified around?
