Here is something interesting from a Futurist position:

Of the Antichrist and the mark of the Beast it is written,

Revelation 13:16-18
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Many don't realize that another religion actually teaches that a savior will appear in the last days, Islam. Islam teaches about the Mahdi, the Guided One, who will lead Muslims into total victory over the entire planet, killing all unbelievers. Of the Mahdi it is written in the Hadiths of Islam...

Notable Islamic scholar also states that the Mahdi is indeed the rider on the white horse in the Christian Bible...

“It is clear that this man [the rider on the white horse in Revelation 6:2] is the Mahdi who will ride the white horse and judge by the Qur’an (with justice) and with whom will be men with marks of prostration on their foreheads [Marks on their foreheads from bowing in prayer with their head to the ground five times daily].” (Kays ibn Jabir)

In addition... the number "666" in Greek is surprisingly similar to the Arabic name of "Allah". (Picture provided)

A bit late to the party, but having studied Arabic in college, I can assure that there is no letter in the language that looks like two crossed swords. So, the graphic provided above does not look like "Allah" in Arabic.
