If Eddie were asked to preach in a Baptist church (or whatever), he would not speak in tongues in that man's pulpit just out of respect for the other pastor. That doesn' mean he would be quenching the Spirit, just being respectful. He might have an influence, where if he did something that angered them, he would have no influence at all.

I agree with this post. Sandra you knew that a Lifeway sponsored event would be a "non-spirit filled" gathering.

You would know this if you would be invited to sing at Saddleback, Willow Creek, Fellowship Dallas, North Pointe Church, etc.

Obviously they know that you are "spirit-filled".

I'm somewhat surprised that they thought that you would possibly "dis-respect" their platform and went as far as to ask you not to do so!
