Yeah me too. Now I just hope they find her to determine what liability she has or does not have. Otherwise my insurance is saying it's under collision, not uninsured and my deductable is 1k

What state are you in?
In Georgia, UIM coverage would provide coverage, collision would not be a concern.

Make sure you talk to your agent not just the adjuster - my niece was hit headon by someone in a stolen car with no insurance and my sister was told by the adjuster it would be under collision and not uninsured. she talked to her agent - who was her brother-in-law and he said it should be under uninsured. He contacted the adjuster and she ended up with money for all the doctor and hospital bills that collision wouldn't cover.
The company tried to talk her into filing under collision because it is cheaper for them.
