It doesn't say by our perfect doctrine we are saved. But it says that by grace are we saved through faith.
That is a beautiful measuring stick, and regardless of whether we have made mistakes in our doctrine (which I think is possible for all of us) it is our faith in Jesus and the grace of God that in the end will cover us in judgment.
I have no problem with someone believing that they need to set aside Sabbath as unto the Lord, as long as they don't look at me and judge me because I don't. That is where
Romans 14 comes into the picture.
Problem is, most who start out keeping Sabbath eventually begin to consider it a salvational thing, and a measuring stick to judge others by, and this is the problem that it creates.
If you keep Sabbath, and don't judge others, then I respect that.
Romans 14:5 "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."
