Yes, I am wary of campaign promises. I just believe the people, under this Administration, have seen in the most egregious light, the horrible and overreaching power of the IRS.

We can only want to believe, under the US Constitution, we could do something about it.

I've only seen the bullet points to Rand's Flat Tax Plan. My first impression is that you could eliminate these things from what we have now.

The main point that will be addressed is that the Middle Class will be hit more than the rich - and that is a bad narrative for the Republicans.

What I would want is someone to talk about every single issue that would be involved in making the change - to begin at point A - How will the thousands and thousands of government workers find other employment?

Where the government employees at the IRS have to go to find honest work rather than raping the tax payer and hindering America's global economic competitiveness is the least of my worries.

We have a huge system in place. It would only be logical to think it through on how we could make the adjustment. A very HUGE amount of unemployed people wouldn't be good for America. I would be concerned for my fellow Americans who are only getting a job with the government because they need a job and the job was available to them.

I haven't heard what anyone would do about these people.

A large part could go to work in their nearest state jail, making license plates for sale to foreign countries that like to keep title on their subjects' personal vehicles?

I know regular people who work for the IRS. It is just a job. They aren't on the level of a Lois Lerner - who I am in favor of putting to work making license plates. Taxes are the law of the land, and the majority of the employees are working to pay their bills.
