That's why it cannot be taken seriously, because you have an individual asking you to pray to God that you are wrong concerning what you have studied and prayed over. Odd business he is proposing as just and right.

What souls? People have a free will to do as they very well please, some people don't want to go to heaven. Even if you showed them the brochure and opened the gates yourself, they would walk the other way. They don't want your god no matter how comfortable and how loving you make him out to be. They don't want your morals, they don't want your pity, and they don't want your care, or humanism. If what you have isn't supernatural power, then all you have left is psychobabble nicer than Jesus I'm OK your OK. No one wants it. Doesn't stick never will.
