Re: Trump 2016

I'm having lots of fun listening to him. LOL!

This is a great article. I'm not certain that he will fade. If he runs third party, then he really planned on a being a spoiler in the first place.

I watched a 1988 interview with Trump and Oprah. He had the same talking points he has today.

How Cruz, Fiorina, and even Trump are Saving the Republican Brand

Donald Trump won't be getting my vote in the GOP presidential primary. However, contrary to popular belief, I'm grateful he's put the GOP on life support, and he isn't alone. Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson and Marco Rubio are doing what's been unseen since Ronald Reagan--speaking above the political and media elite and connecting directly to the people.

For those of you who are concerned that Trump is sucking the air out of the room, you're right! Fortunately, for us it's a lot of hot air from the left and Cruz and Fiorina are smart enough to realize it.

I honestly am amazed at how smart he was to threaten the possibility of running third party.

Consider that if it comes to a close choice between trump and any other republican that such a statement may garner him extra support just out of fear that he will defect to third party and ruin the other candidates chances if he doesn't get the nomination.

Definitely may cause some to give him the nod for the republican nomination in a close race. Possibly reasoning that it's better to have Trump than to have Trump run third party and have the Democrats win again.

And the thing is, everyone can believe trump would consider running third party if it came to that kind of a situation. Genius move on his part IMO.

It was a smart move on his part. His reasoning is that it is "leverage" against the Establishment GOP, which no one trusts at all.

In essence, he is saying that if he is up and the polls and somehow the GOP knocks him down, he will run third party and win or make them lose. They aren't driving the election this time around.

He's the only really interesting republican candidate at the moment IMO... that's for sure.
