Jesus obviously couldn't measure up to your sense of style EB.

Why would you care if a brother has a beard?

Uh....how long have you been around old time Pentecost? I was born into it over 50 years ago and for all of that time it has been a huge care to almost 100% of them! Only in the last few years has there been some movement to accept facial hair on men. There used to be a rule not allowing men on the platform at GC with facial hair that I believe they recently changed.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Not just one Christmas tree but this past year a total of 5 or 6. One large downstairs, one large upstairs, and three or four smaller ones in bedrooms or window dormers on the second story.
Oh, and laser and LED lights shining on the house with a few old fashioned lights as well.

Hmmmm......would it wash and dry the dishes faster? If so I think my son's old Ford pickup junker in my driveway has a 350 in it's rusting hulk and it runs!

No, CC1 did better than that! CC1 dressed Deacon Blues up as Tom Bombadil and rode him on the back of his Honda Goldwing draped in Xmas lights with a lighted life size Nativity baby on the front where the headlight should be.
