Gee, thanks. I confess I am ignorant of this teaching. Please show me where the apostles taught about pronouncing the Saviour's name in Hebrew, and I shall be able to escape my ignorance.

Re: Calling on the Name of Jesus (at baptism)
Heb. 4:14, has to include profession at baptism. Written in Hebrew. Acceptable, but not required. (Course, assuming the apostle Paul wrote Hebrews)
Even Unregistered, ought to know that.
Lotta people just think they have it all figured out, like Unregistered.
mercy.
Don't be offended though, we're all workers together, on the same team.

Why the condescension and snark? I asked a question is all.
Hebrews 4:14 says nothing about how to pronounce the name.
I now have indeed figured SOMETHING out: you hebrew namers have NO SCRIPTURE that says what YOU say, that non Hebrews who don't speak Hebrew ought to use the Hebrew pronunciation.
Thanks for clearing that up.

I pray that you get better soon. Fever can be nasty, enough to make somebody get out of hand on AFF...

Aa-ahhh! I see. Very cute.
However, even though it was meant to be funny, it's true!
I OUGHT to know that; and I DON'T quite have it all worked
out . . . but I'm getting closer. The longer I am in this forum,
the more I learn . . . and the more I learn to discard.

Now THAT is very interesting!
I hope you implied that the Bereans "...received the word
with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily,
whether those things were so."
Otherwise you are, in effect, telling everyone not to follow
anyone else's advice but your own! So if there be anyone in
this forum that is in the Lord's Ministry (or a preacher of the
gospel that saves), we should all just disregard it, right? Oh,
that's right, the caveat: "study it out".
Beloved, instead of trying to think for everyone you should say
that you disagree, AND THEN state your reason(s) why! Live up
to the title you are representing!
"Judge righteous judgment."
