Yes he is, but he is because he is using a translation of the original name of Yeshua.

Up to 250 years ago, the name Jesus did not exist at all, so how it this English name more original than a Hebrew name?

The Chinese is from the Greek BAD transliteration.

There were sounds and grammatical rules in the Hebrew that did not translate well into the Greek.

We definitely know that the combination SH was not available in Greek, there was no way to translate that Hebrew sound into Greek for it did not existed in that language, so an approximation was used.

The same with the grammatical rules, there were differences in the grammar between Hebrew and Greek so accommodations had to be made.

Iesous is pronounced Yee sues give me a break!

In Latin its pronounced Yee su like Yeshu!!
