Every soul on earth has been drawn by the Spirit, rather they consciously realize it or not.

And so all will be without excuse.

Happy! This quote makes me feel HAPPY!

Although there is one other thing I believe and would add...God draws everyone to himself. Some will refuse his gentle influence. But to those who respond to his drawing, he shows them his salvation. Because God's will is that every single person would be saved. I'm not sure if Arminius believed something like this because that would mean that God gives grace before the hearing of the gospel. I know because I was given that grace.

Re: Those who never heard about Jesus?

"Salvation is far more than just believing the statement that salvation is found in the Lord Jesus Christ. So many come to the front in our churches today, and when the preacher asks them, "Are you trusting Jesus?" say, "Yes, I'm trusting Him." My friend, that is not salvation! Salvation is much more than a call, or an invitation to sinners to receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Salvation is more than just believing the Word that Christ died for sinners, and reasoning that since I am a sinner, Christ died for me.

Salvation is even more than an awakened sinner coming to rest upon the promises of God, because salvation is not resting upon the Word, nor just believing the Word. You can believe the Word and go to Hell! You can rest upon a promise and wake up in Hell. Salvation is even more than resting upon the finished work of Christ upon the cross. Salvation is far more than a decision for Christ, or taking your stand for Christ.Salvation is far more than just believing the statement that salvation is found in the Lord Jesus Christ. So many come to the front in our churches today, and when the preacher asks them, "Are you trusting Jesus?" say, "Yes, I'm trusting Him." My friend, that is not salvation! Re: Those who never heard about Jesus?

We read all this stuff about what salvation isn't. What about what it is?

Salvation is a genuine act of faith in the heart that GOD HAS TO SEE, or it's NO GO. The heart must genuinely believe there is no other way to glory than by the cross of Jesus Christ, meaning all other ways are salvation by works, clearly condemned by scripture. And if God does not see that faith in the heart, one can confess all they want, and even get baptized and just get wet. GOD has to see that FAITH in the only name given under heaven among men whereby we must be saved.

Re: Those who never heard about Jesus?

How can they believe in whom they have not heard? And how can they hear except they preach? And how can they preach except they be sent?

So it seems salvation is impossible without the gospel being preached and believed in. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved, he that believes not shall be damned.

NOW, ask yourself: "Is it UNFAIR that so many haven't had the opportunity to believe?"

The answer will reveal whether you think in terms of "grace and unmerited favor and pardon" or whether you secretly think God somehow OWES salvation to anyone...

Romans 9:16-23King James Version (KJV)

16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
