Do You Ever Think Of Going Back?

Can you get something to put in your shoe that will even out your height? My husband got some special inserts that do him wonders.

What I recently discovered is that if I buy those inserts you can get at Wal-Mart, and just use one in my right shoe, then it definitely helps out with my back pain. The foot pain is just from being too heavy and being on my feet for too long. The only thing that is going to fix that is losing about 100lbs. I had a family meeting and informed my wife and children that some major changes are going to have to be made in the food we buy. If you knew the amount of popsicles, kool-aid, ice cream, sugar coated cereals, etc. that this family consumes it would surprise. Entirely too much sugar. I am the worst one about it too. So, once this current supply is gone we are going to make the switch to fruit, water, and more healthy snacks. We all know it's going to be hard to make this change.

I hear you. I cut back on sugar recently. The hardest part is getting the family buy-in, so I by-passed that at first. I am amazed that after the first week or so (in which I had a real CRABBY spell! that I assume was withdrawl) I actually WANT less now. I fought with God for years about giving up the sugar. I finally said "God, I can't give it up, but I will lessen it". I am very glad I did and although I backslide once in a while, I do feel better!

Exactly. Sister, this is exactly what I was telling my family. There will be a period of adjustment for us because we are used to everything being sweet. Once we get past that initial hump and those withdrawals, we will get to the place where we don't want the sugar.
