Absolutely agree on this!

I have had dreams about my calling, but God has shown others who did not know me that told me about the calling that God has shown. It was just confirmation of what God shows me. I went to a trinitarian church that God used to tell me about my calling, plus He used Apostolics to confirm my calling.

This is also how God deals with me. He tells me then it is confirmed by others. It is always so awesome when he confirms it through someone I don't know and I know they know nothing about me...
|
Try praying and fasting to seek God about these things. I can tell you about some things that I have discerned about people and found it to be true. There were things that I thought it was something that I was thinking, but found out that it was discernment. Not all dreams are from God and you have to seek God about it to find out which ones are from Him.

You know, God tells me things too...at first I was doubtful that it was God and just thought it was me...but God affirmed what I was thinking when I took a step of faith and acted on it. I guess it is easier to be sensitive to Gods dealing in regard to someone else than for me to think he would tell me the same things about myself...hummmmmmneed to digest that!

Well, that is why there are Apostolics getting divorced, because they chose each other and didn't allow God to choose their mate. That is why we humans fail miserably, because it is our flesh that chooses and the not allowing God to choose for us.

I don't think Apostolics are getting divorced because they chose out of the will of God but I think they stopped believing that God to repair situations and failures.
|
I believe that there would be less divorces with Apostolics if they allow God to choose the mate that He wants them to have, because God's will is the only sure way to do things. That's why I don't do anything without praying about it and making sure it is God's will. This is something that some Apostolics don't get, but it is so typical.

I don't think it is as easy as that...I think good solid Biblical teaching, counseling, and a consistent personal relationship to Christ makes the difference

I do not look to myself as the supreme authority, or the ultimate in knowledge...I look to Christ. So, I agree with you on this!

I believe that God had a plan for my life before I was ever even thought of or conceived in the womb of my mother.
I believe the same thing in regard to my husband who has the call and anointing of God on his life.
I believe that God put us together in order that His will, plan and purpose would be carried out specifically.
I don't believe in "coincidence" in regard to the will of God when two people are sold out to God and when He has called and "chosen" and marked them for service to Him.
I believe that if you are praying for the will of God and are submitted to the plan and purpose of God in your own life that God will bring 2 people together so that their lives will blend, harmonize and be spent for the kingdom and for the achievement of the purpose of God.

I do think it is as easy as that, because I have had experiences where I had to trust God completely no matter what and that is something that many Apostolics don't do. Now, that is easier said than done, but I know when I have trusted Him completely, that God has always brought me through.
It takes a special kind of faith to trust God completely.

I agree with Felicity on this on.
My husband had a dream years before we met.He saw himself in a conference
with a woman(didn't see her face) behind the pulpit playing guitar. His girlfriend at the time played guitar a little but she was not a minister. When he met me he did not know I play guitar. He found that out later.lol.In general discussion of the call of God on our lives it was brought out that God had given us a burden for the
same area of the world. We are working on that burden presently.
I do think God puts people together.I don't think it means that there isn't a plan
B if it fails though.

Well, I think there is only one plan with God and that is plan A, there is no plan B, because God is perfect and He doesn't need another plan. God has plan A and carnality of people have plan B. That is why there are so many divorces today with Apostolics.
