The Lord got me out of the most craziest situations, saved my lie multiple times. Gave me things I needed not necessarily what I wanted. My father dying was something I didn't expect. I had never seen my father cry, he never told me he loved me (he didn't have to say it, I always felt it) he told me he was dying, and that I was to find out where he was going and don't go there. I told him he wasn't dying, but by the time I got home I received a call that he had passed. Again, I wish I knew what I know now, I would of prayed with him to be healed, I would of asked an atheist to trust the God of his son, that His name is Jesus and he would be healed if he allowed me to pray with him. But , I didn't know that kind of praying.

Since then I have seen people get up and walk out of hospice, and intensive care units.

That's why I know prayer works, and changes things, if I need those things.

Not just want those things.

The key right there...asking for our needs but the Lord has supplied my wants too... It doesn't hurt to ask Him!

I have wants, but He meets my needs. Technically want and need are very different. If you get something you want it is usually what you need at the time in some way, shape, or form.
