It was an interesting experience because I was a Pentecostal teenager with absolutely no emotional attachment to the Pope or anything RC. On the other hand I was in a small courtyard with just a few hundred other people, most of whom were devout Roman Catholics. For them it was clearly one of the highlights of their life and they were very emotional.
