I never threatened to commit suicide. I just asked, if I did, would you take care of my kids? The point is, you have no skin in the game. You're just a talking stuffed shirt. You can type here, or get in a pulpit, condemn everyone who seeks medicinal help from any and every source. You can insult them, slander them, distort everything they are simply trying to share with you, and argue that God heals everyone all the time... and if they end up hurting themselves or others because they listen to you and don't seek medication... you loose nothing.
Besides, why would you can authorities who would only psycho-analyze, medicate, and then perhaps suggest many of the very medications you've condemned? LOL Is it because when the rubber meets the road, you don't trust your Jesus? If you really believe what you say you believe... why not offer some prayer?
But it doesn't matter because I'm not going to do anything crazy. But I will warn you of this... you use a lot of words, words that are designed to hurt, not heal. And I'll be honest, there was a time in my life when if I were sitting under your pastoral care... I would have probably ended it. You don't know anything that's going on in people's private lives. You don't know where they're at. One day, your words could trigger the unthinkable. I'm not asking for groveling apologies or for you to become Mr. Rogers. I'm only offering some thoughts. Just think about it and keep it in the back of your head. Because one day... you might realize that you were dealing with something far more serious than you could have ever imagined.
In this thread, I'm only saying that there are studies, individual testimonies, and growing consensus among the medical community that would disagree with your notions that there is absolutely no medical benefit in many of the substances you're condemning as you peddle fear, ignorance, and superstition.
