That is absolutely false. They had money. Remember Abraham? When he bought the cave to bury Sarah? I’ll just post the scripture. Something you seem to be allergic to.
Genesis 23
[16] And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.
This is evidence that the merchant accepted money (current money aka currency) in Abraham’s day. This took place approximately five hundred years BEFORE God ordered the children of Israel to give tithes of food. Also God did order the half shekel offering to be paid in MONEY before they entered the promised land and began paying tithes. They had to pay it in money. Excuses were NOT allowed. The tithe was NOT allowed to be money. No exceptions.
You keep saying things, but you don’t post scripture to back it up. Bring the goods please. It must be uncomfortable to take a position that you have no scripture for. I’d be ashamed.
