now surely God will give back more than $14,000.
Why are we greedy? How do you measure that?

Not sure anyone is really looking for a r.o.i. in the form of cash or material gain.
The scripture says if we have the ability to help a brother in need and dont do it , its not a good thing in so many words.

Rudy, you know that when us simple folk read these sorts of posts, it looks like you are bitter? So, what's up? You did read, one, it wasn't a tithe, but that the church family just took up an offering for a minister to get back on the road? I myself, haven't a clue why you even introduced idea of greed. The evangelist has an RV with his family. I did notice that you give monetarily online? So, are you the janitor of the pro-tithe church as your offering to that congregation?

You know and i know God giving back or you can't out give God is always related to money given back.
And no, i don't consider my being the trash man an offering.. When I kill an animal then I might offer it up. notice i said might.

I beg to differ on the "always related to money given back" statement. Around our place we teach a return of money is the least of what we should desire to "get back" there are so many other things more important that we have than a return of money.
Healthy kids, good family, food and shelter, God's hand on our lives, etc.

Good morning, Rudy!
One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered. -- Proverbs 11:24-25 (ESV)
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. -- Matthew 6:31-33 (ESV)
Is this not what our brother is saying? I know some will give the old "plant a seed, receive 100 fold" type speech, but it certainly doesn't appear to be what is being said by Apostolic1ness.

Reason: Originally stated "...and none who waters..." The 'n' was a footnote I failed to remove when copying.
