I believe that when Christianity started in Judea it was a fellowship. When Christianity spread to Greece it became a philosophy. When it spread into Italy, it became an institution. I see these organizations as simply incorporated franchises of Apostolic Christianity.

I'm cool, it was the Greeks are the philosophers, the intelligencer, meanwhile the Italians are the heavy lifters having to get everything together. While the Greek sit back, and tell stories, play cards, eat dolmadakia, and watch their civilization crumble.

My wife is Greek on her mother's side, and Little Rock Arkansas, on her father's side. I'm Sicilian on both sides. My children speak Greek, and English. But I still must remind everyone who built civilizations. It was the Floridians, with their awesome BBQ!
