I'm not a Constitutional attorney, but I don't find anywhere that a ban was allowed, especially for religious expression of worship.

I believe it would be dismissed as unconstitutional.

Nobody follows the Bill of Rights anymore.

Besides, isn't that a state issue?

Fun fact: We've been operating under a national emergency continuously since AT LEAST 1933.

Question: We have been knocking on doors through the city. When people are social distancing, is it a violation to continue at this time?

Oh yes 1933, when the wealthy took the opportunity to raid the temple. 1933 when the law was passed to make it illegal to own gold bullion. Us lower cast can’t free ourselves from statecraft usuary. Let’s do what we are told while Lee Greenwood sings in the background.

Why not? That’s where they will be. We are going to be told to go back to our cells.

Re: Coronavirus contains HIV genes

Four cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Broward County, and three of the people who have positive tests are employed by a company at Port Everglades. An additional 155 test results are pending in Florida.

Does any of the three posters here personally know anyone with coronavirus?

I don’t

To tell you the truth, Bro. Beni, I told my mom last night that I wonder now if that is what was wrong with me Christmas into January...

I had my flue shot months ago, and haven't had the flu in years... so I didn't fever... no chills or aches, other than old lady aches... no sneezing or runny nose. Just a hacking, dry cough that wouldn't quit.

My doctor said it was not the flu, just a virus that would have to run its course. After sever weeks I told her I was tired of running the marathon, so she prescribed a strong cough syrup... it didn't really help, and the cough is now gone.

One of my sisters in law received the same diagnosis... just a virus that an antibiotic wouldn't help.

So honestly, it could have been Covid-19 and nobody knew what it was or it could have been some other ailment.

Bottom line: tho' I don't personally know of anyone who had or has it now I'm not doubting it is a real issue.

Now... are folks in a hyped/panic mode, oh yeah! Just game back from trying to buy groceries, and it's crazy! But some of the precautions against the unknown at this juncture may be wise. I would rather we paused on the side of caution than to bury our heads in the sand, and holler that it's all fake news...

Not saying you're doing that... just saying...

Sister, media is a powerful tool, probably the main reason why the old Apostolic elders frowned on television, newspapers, and radio programs. I live in Hurricane alley. So I know what hysteria looks like, especially from Northerners who have never dealt with a hurricane. I only get my hurricane stats from NOAA, and a few other hurricane watchers. But NEVER trust the mainstream media because it is all ENTERTAINMENT. It is all about beating us in the head with fear. We are supposed to have a sound mind, to walk circumspectly before the Lord. Not to give into the melodrama which the world around us feeds off of. If you look at the stats for this coronavirus you have a better chance being eaten by a large dinosaur then dying from this virus. So my question is why whip up the people to the point that they are shaking like a puppy passing a peach pit.
My lands, our supermarkets are ransacked, and frankly if you do the math, they have nothing to worry about. I have people in our church who will be impacted by this hysteria locally. Cruise ship industry, school closings, building department closing, and local event cancelations. I mean seriously, cooler heads in leadership should prevail. Yet, gone are the days of manly male leadership who weren’t afraid to tell the people how the cow ate the cabbage. But now we have politicking all across the board. Trump said that the media was blowing this whole thing out of proportion? Well I just heard of that this morning. If he did say it, then bravo, because we needed someone to say something at the top. Tom Hanks and his wife has it? Who cares!!! How on earth did we need to know that? What does it matter to the billion of us who may never get it or any other virus? If Obama was president or some other liberal progressive this would be a different story. Sad really, how the people of this world get puppeted around by the politics of America.
